An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join the Barclays BX Web services which has responsibility across the customer and colleague facing web estate for all of Barclays global businesses. Part of the Digital analyst practice and a member of Agile feature teams producing requirements and user stories, defining acceptance criteria and shaping solutions.
What will you be doing?
Work across the Digital channels and products to ensure new developments adopt an integrated omni-channel approach, benefit from common design languages and deliver fantastic user experiences.
Take ownership of multiple products or components within the digital estate ensuring they are reusable across business areas are understood by site owners and authors and are maintained with high quality through their lifetime
Understand Digital platform capabilities to ensure solutions make best use of technology capabilities
Produce recommendations that reflect business drivers such as risk, cost and timescales
Work with business product owners on a daily basis to produce a continuous backlog of user stories that are ready for development
What we're looking for:
Command of agile analysis techniques – including the application of industry-standard methodologies, techniques, complex modelling, scenario planning and use of software tools
Strong experience in Agile led development methodologies
Ability to quickly learn the Digital business challenges to a depth of understanding that ensures the defined solutions will add significant value
Strong stakeholder management at all levels in an organisation including the ability to communicate detail to developers and QAs and provide functional demonstrations to product owners and accountable execs
Skills that will help you in the role:
Experience with Web hosting platforms including cloud based Adobe Experience Manager platforms
Resolving discrepancies between desired business solutions and technical achievability
Commercial business perspective – appreciation of Digital Banking challenges and of the potential commercial consequences of decisions and designs
Achieve common solutions from a starting point
